Nice place to stop on your drive around the island
On my trip around the island, we found this pirate themed burger, steaks and beer place. It sits right on the water with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The owner, Jeff, seems to be on site normally, and plays the part of the pirate well.
I’ve attached a picture of the menu, in case you want to see what’s available.
Why go?
- The food is OK, the ambiance fits the island culture, and the view is great!
- Your options for food are limited on the south side of the island.
What you need to know:
- The view out over the water is very nice!
- Jeff is personable and walks around to speak with his customers (at least he did with us)
- It’s located on a section of the circle island road with not much else around. Plus it’s about the halfway point from Hagatna.
- The food is “OK”
- It was fairly full, and most of the customers looked like locals. (But again, this could be because there aren’t that many places to eat on this side of the island)
- It’s not the cheapest place, but they are on an island and have to ship most of their ingredients in.
